Folklore is inspired by traditional knitting. It features plaids, fair isle, tweeds and textures. There are designs for both men and women. Colors are tones of greens, rich berries and hints of gold.
Shadowlands was photographed in one of the last working water mills in England and the garments give the impression of the hard times of the industrial revolution when colors were somber and every detail served a purpose. Including menís and womenswear, each garment portrays a sense of warmth and comfort including oversized garments with chunky textures. Colors are grays, browns, dusky reds, purple and blue.
Heritage Inspired by the upper classes in the 1920s. The collection has eccentric English twist including striped, patterned and lace womenswear designs. The colors contrast the soft greens and grays with the rich purple heather, golds and chestnut..
Other features include 8 children's designs, a history of textiles, an interview with students from the Royal College of Art, Rowan's Greatest Knits, info on the new yarns and books and lots more.
